In this chapter, we designed our base microservice class and interface that we will use for all future microservices. We defined the base functionality that we needed and put that into our base class for others to inherit. I also showed you how to run a very minimalistic microservice as well as where you could locate instances of those running. In the next chapter, we'll look at our common messages and talk about why it's so important that they come from the same namespace.
