In this chapter, you learned that providing a scripting environment to your games opens up new possibilities. Implementing a functionality using scripting languages is usually faster than doing the full write-compile-test cycle with C++, and you can even use the skills and creativity of your users who have no understanding of the internals of your game engine to make your games better and more feature-rich.
