What is AppSheet Automation?
As of writing this book, AppSheet automates the following processes:
- Sending emails with attachments
- Creating new files with various file types, such as PDF, Excel, CSV, HTML, and so on
- Sending SMSs and notifications
- Running Data change actions
- Calling a webhook
- Running Google Apps Script and capturing the returned values
With most business applications, you need to create files as a part of the functionality you require from the app. For instance, you need to create an invoice with a financial management app and send it to a third party. It could be tedious work to create this file manually, but AppSheet will do so on your behalf, and more importantly, complete jobs of this kind instantly.
