Creating repetitive files using modern templates
Content assembly enables the creation of generic, repetitive documents such as contracts, agreements, or letters. Content assembly is based on Microsoft Word documents that are deployed as templates for content assembly. Fields are mapped to placeholders on the template. When the document is filled, placeholders are automatically filled with field values on the content assembly form. Fields can also be mapped as library columns, and filled values are automatically extracted. A template is currently only available in the document library where it’s created and cannot be copied to other document libraries.
Creating a modern document template
