Multilingual Universes


We can create a Universe one time and use the Translation Management Tool to add translation with different locales to your SAP BO objects. We can use the Translation Management Tool to translate reports, dashboards, and many SAP BO resources as well. The Translation Management Tool can be used to translate the .unv Universe's old version as well as the .unx new version.

The Translation Management Tool is an interface that can help us import BO resources and add as many locales as we need (up to 130 locales). Then we can start manual translation for object names, titles, and description. This will help us because once we create a Universe, we will be able to separate the translation activates from the development ones.

In this section, we will just take a small example to help us understand the main use of the Translation Management Tool with the following steps:
