The Universe development life cycle
The Universe development life cycle is very close to the project life cycle because it is a project or part of a project at the end. A typical BI project will require the following deliverables:
A rich and user-friendly presentation layer that can be used by end business users to build their own reports and on-the-fly analysis
A set of standard reports and analysis
Training for end users on how to use the presentation layer and standard reports
