In this chapter, we covered an overview of stakeholder roles and responsibilities and why it is important to be able to identify your project stakeholders. Then, you reviewed common stakeholder requirements and interests, which is one of the iterative responsibilities you will have as a project manager since those interests and requirements will change during the project life cycle.
You then reviewed different roles and responsibilities of potential project stakeholders by title or category, which included the project management office or PMO.
Lastly, you reviewed the importance of a stakeholder matrix and what headers could be used to collect information either at the beginning of the project or throughout. In Chapter 4, Developing a Project Charter, you will review the development of a project charter and why it is an important kick-off document.
