In this chapter, we discussed troubleshooting in depth, covering the steps of the troubleshooting methodology, some of the most popular tools used in diagnosing network issues, and some of the most common issues seen on both wired and wireless networks. This material was aimed at presenting a few practical examples to technicians, in the hope that they would better understand how to properly apply the troubleshooting methodology to issues on their network, and in the hope that technicians would be able to better relate the knowledge they have garnered in this book to the issues that they face in their workplaces.
