Capturing data and handling enquiries on your website


You can use Form Blocks and Newsletter Blocks to allow website visitors to interact with your business and to capture data about your leads and customers. Both of these blocks are located in the More category in the Add Block menu.

Form Blocks and Newsletter Blocks can connect to two external services:

  • MailChimp: This can be found at www.mailchimp.com. This is a popular email marketing tool to automatically subscribe contacts to your mailing list

  • Google Docs (now Google Drive): This can be found at https://drive.google.com/. This is used to store all the form information in a spreadsheet

Form Blocks can also send an email to someone at your company every time someone completes the form, which enables immediate action to be taken.

It's a good idea to use a form for all electronic communication on your website rather than posting your email address as a link on your pages. Not only will a form ensure that the enquirer gives you all the information...
