Wireshark

Wireshark is an open source application used to analyze the data packet in your network. It can be applied in multiple ways, for example, network troubleshooting, security analysis, and network forensics. It was originally named Ethereal but was changed to Wireshark in 2006. It is a cross-platform software that can run on Microsoft Windows, Mac, different Linux distributions, and Unix-based systems. It is a GUI-based application, but it is also available to be used in terminal mode, by the name of T-Shark.
