Summary
In this chapter, we learned how we can enhance our process flowchart diagrams with themes, variants, and shape styles. We also saw how we can visualize data by using color by value or adding text callouts, icon sets, and data bars. We then learned how we can control the visibility and color of many shapes simultaneously using layers.
With all these abilities to mix many colors of shapes and text, we also became aware of the need to make our diagrams accessible by providing sufficient contrast and alternative text, and sorting the tab navigation order. We will learn more about this in Chapter 11.
Finally, we considered the options for producing flowcharts in multiple languages.
In the next chapter, we will understand how we can control access to our documents while providing the ability to review, comment, and collaborate with the necessary individuals or teams.
