Summary
We made a ton of progress in this chapter. We started by identifying the panel for brushes and then learned a bit about brush management. By doing this, you can now read a brush preview, as well as dig into it and take on the basic panels that control the general and dynamic settings. However, the star of the show was you creating a Bokeh brush and applying it to an edit.
In the next chapter, we will cover the last truly fundamental thing you need to understand in Affinity Photo, or any art application for that matter – the idea of color. So far, we have survived by recognizing that there are panels for certain things, and we have chosen some basic colors. In the next chapter, we will explore color as an editor to add a signature to our edits. See you soon!
