Editing a frame without impacting content
While the auto setting for frames (and part of their purpose) is that whatever you do to your frame you are also doing to its content, there are ways to edit a frame without impacting the content.
There are two different ways: grabbing and dragging one side of frame or using the Alt key to select (only) the frame before editing. Both methods are worth memorizing because you will often need to adjust the size of a frame so that it better fits your purpose.
How to do it…
Method 1: Grab and drag one side of frame:
- Open the prezi that you want to work in.
- Locate the frame that you want to edit.
- Make sure there is content in it.
- Click on the visible part of the frame to select it.
- Do not drag the corner handles (as this will impact the content).
- Hover over any of the four blue lines until the double arrow is displayed.
- Drag your preferred blue line to move it towards (or away from) the center of the frame.
- Watch how your frame is now smaller (or bigger)...
