Animating the camera with keyframes
We will now learn how to create animations for the camera by utilizing keyframes. This will help us create more compelling renders because we will be able to render animated scenes as opposed to just still images. These animation concepts are universal to all forms of keyframe-based animation, so this knowledge will carry over to other animation skills beyond camera movement.
Before learning how to animate the camera, we must understand what keyframes are and how they work.
Keyframes are frames that represent a specific point in time where properties such as position, rotation, or scale are defined. For example, when animating with keyframes, we set the location of an object to point A on the first keyframe and point B on the second keyframe two seconds later. Blender will then automatically make the object move from point A to point B within those two seconds.
