Technical Requirements
We're back in good old Blender in this chapter so you shouldn't have any troubles there.
Be advised we are going to use some free textures from the Asset Store, so you can go ahead and download and import eU Sci-Fi textures set Volume 1.
If you want to customize your own textures, you will want to have an image-editing program handy. Photoshop is the tool of choice and GIMP is an open source alternative, but really any image editor that supports layers is fine.
Also, if you are going the custom textures route, there are many, many sites with free resources besides the Asset Store. One excellent one is https://www.textures.com.
