Another amazing chapter full of discovery. I hope you don't feel overwhelmed by all you are learning. Go at a pace you are comfortable with. Everyone learns differently and remember that the real learning happens off the page.
In this chapter, we started off by very abstractly talking about modular design and the fundamentals of texturing. We created a plan for our mini-game level layout and then we spent a good deal of time dealing with UV unwrapping as we created a floor, wall, and corner piece.
Be sure you are comfortable with what we covered in this chapter because everything that follows builds on what we've done so far. By all means create other floors, walls, and corners! Use different textures or make your own.
Next up: we'll create more sophisticated scenery and start to learn Blender animation with sci-fi blastdoors!
