Minimum recommended hardware:
- Desktop PC or laptop
- 2 GBÂ free disk space
- 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM)
- 500 Kbps or faster internet connection
Software requirements:
- OS (Linux or Mac): Docker, Docker Compose, Git (optional)
- OS (Windows): Docker for Windows and Git for Windows
- Python 3.x, PyMongo driver, and Apache (already installed in the Docker container used for the book)
Chapter 2, Setting Up MongoDB 4.x covers required software installation and restoring the code repository for the book.
To run the code examples in this chapter, open a Terminal window (Command Prompt) and enter these commands:
cd /path/to/repo/chapters/14
docker-compose build
docker-compose up -d
