5 tips for better networking

"Set a goal. Networking meetings and events can be overwhelming. Before you go, decide how many new people you are going to introduce yourself to and how many business cards you are going to walk out with. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and make sure you reach your goals. Also, make sure that your business cards are clean, organized, and easy to reach. Women—wear a purse you can put on your shoulder—you don't want to be walking around with too many things in your hands!"
