Chapter 7. Sharing and Consuming with YouTube, Flickr, Google Maps, and Twitter

Now that we are comfortable with building content, we will begin to add more content that is developed and maintained on other websites. Some of this content will be contributed by you, while some may be created by other people in your community, or even across the world.

In this chapter we'll integrate content from popular social web sharing sites including YouTube, Flickr, Google Maps, and Twitter with our website. We'll do this by:

• Integrating YouTube videos using a YouTube filter on our Drupal site

• Adding images to our site via our Flickr photo sets

• Integrating the Google Maps API with our website so we can embed maps into our site's content

• Posting content from our Drupal site directly to our Twitter feed
