Autonomous mission planning
Mission planning is a key feature that every GCS offers. This feature helps a drone pilot program the drone with the flight paths they decide based on the environment and applications to make the drone follow it in completely autonomous mode without any pilot intervention. Mission planning requires the support of maps and a GPS to accurately plot the waypoints through which the drone will move and, hence, form a flight path.
A flight path is a set of longitudes, latitudes, and elevations (waypoints) used by a drone to automatically navigate. AeroGCS offers 10 preloaded flight paths, which can be chosen by the pilot as per their needs; hence, this makes the job of the pilot easy and accurate. In the following screenshot, we can see the different kinds of flight paths that AeroGCS offers:
