As described in the previous appendix, VCP6.5-DCV certification is for administrators and engineers, and it was designed for those that can install, configure, manage, and optimize VMware vSphere 6.5. It also represents the first level of the Data Center Virtualization path.
Keep in mind that to successfully pass the exams, you will need to gain some experience in the field, because studying books alone will probably not suffice. Exam questions are sometimes tricky, and the correct answer can often by discerned through experience.
Once you have obtained your certification, you will be entitled to a digital badge as proof of your accomplishment, providing valid verification of your VMware status for your employers:
