IoT clouds
IoT is a network of a variety of physical devices—things—that are connected to the internet. These devices could be smart-home appliances, such as fridges and washing machines, manufacturing devices, heat and motion sensors, smart cars, and self-driving cars . Most of these devices will generate sensor data about their environment or the equipment in which it is embedded, which can be sent to a central location for processing. In some cases, these devices also take instructions from a central system. The sensor data gathered could act as the input for decision-making done by this central system.
IoT devices generate humongous amounts of data, and processing this data on the devices or even on their premises may not be feasible. This is where IoT clouds come into the picture.
