Importing text from Microsoft Word documents
We’ll now turn our attention to importing type from third-party applications. After placing the type onto the relevant pages in our document, we’ll style the type so that it fits our design objectives. This will include choosing typefaces, adjusting size, tweaking leading, and selecting the weight of the font for emphasis and legibility.
- Navigate to Page 2 by double-clicking its thumbnail on the Pages panel. Ensure that no objects are selected by choosing the Selection tool V or Esc) and clicking away from the page.

Should you get a missing fonts warning message, click the Replace Fonts option at the bottom-left of the dialog. - The missing fonts are shown with an exclamation point in the top half of the dialog. In my case, Segoe UI Regular is missing. Under Replace With:, choose Myriad Pro from the Font Family...
