Creating the buttercup leaves
The next step is to create the buttercup flower leaves. Based on this reference, we can see the shape of a buttercup’s leaves:

Let’s go ahead and create the buttercup flower leaves.
Applying textures with Alpha transparency
To create the flower leaves using the Alpha transparency trick, let’s follow these steps:
- Create a plane.
- Assign a new material called
Leaf
to the plane. - Drop the leaf image you have downloaded into Shader Editor and connect it to Base Color:
