Chapter 5. Mobile Platforms
In the previous chapter, we learned how to make our WebRTC applications secure. We covered HTTPS and SSL-secured WebSocket. We learned how to deploy and configure the TURN server, built our own TURN server, and integrated it with our developed WebRTC application. We introduced the TURN server's authentication mechanism as well.
In this chapter, we will talk about developing WebRTC applications for mobile platforms. We will also talk about mobile browsers and native applications. We will learn how to build the WebRTC native demo application for two mobile platforms. We will learn about the software developing kits that are available today and also learn which ones can help us develop in platforms where WebRTC is not natively supported yet.
