Setting up your Song and exploring the Song settings

Studio One presents you with a plethora of options and settings while creating a new Song, but keep in mind that you don’t have to adjust all these settings at this point. You can always come back and set them (or modify them) later. Experimentation is a huge part of music production, and at the time of creating a new Song, you may not even know what any of these settings will turn out to be. Feel free to skip any parameter that you haven’t decided upon.

Now let’s create your first Song together. On Studio One’s Start page, click the large plus sign titled New…. This will open the New Document window:
