Summary

Animations bring together a whole set of disciplines. We have posing, lighting, and framing, just as for still images, but multiplied many times. By using keyframes in a smart way, we can create animations with the least amount of work.

As we saw, we don't have just one way of creating animation but several. We can control the timeline accurately by using the keyMate plugin, and we can complement it with the aniMate plugin for quick building of complex animation using aniblocks.

As with any motion picture work, planning makes the difference between success and failure. Hopefully, the checklist and techniques illustrated here, such as storyboarding, will help you in tackling this complex task.
