Throughout this chapter, we reiterated the notion that ICS security isn’t simply a milestone but an ongoing commitment to advancement and refinement. Adopting a comprehensive and integrated strategy is crucial for the enduring protection and reliability of any asset. We explored the importance of addressing current and relevant challenges through a robust CSMS, solid governance models, and a sustainable operational and maintenance strategy. This approach not only safeguards assets over their entire lifecycle but also ensures they keep pace with the dynamic landscape of cyber threats and technological evolution.
