Previously, we went through a detailed project guide on how to set up and configure our Raspberry Pi Zero W board for hosting our personal website. We also talked about networking and looked at all the steps that we have to take to give access to our website to anyone in the world. In this chapter, we will go through a different project using AI and resources available on the internet to set up AlexaPi. AlexaPi is a clone project from the Alexa service by Amazon. Since Alexa is quite expensive, you can have a clone in your Raspberry Pi Zero W board costing the minimum amount of money. At the end of the chapter, we will mention some advantages and drawbacks of this project. In this chapter, we will talk about the following topics:
- Creating an Amazon developer account
- Setting up Raspberry Pi
- Installing Alexa
- Voice recognition
- Network administration
