The Tone Mapping persona
Now, it is time for my all-time favorite persona: the Tone Mapping persona. This is the artistic part, and it is an integral part of my workflow. This persona is the closest thing to being able to fake some of the wild Photoshop filters and effects in Affinity Photo, and I love mixing the images I tone map in with the original image to create some amazing work. So, I will discuss this section from a how-to approach and then show you one of the weird non-traditional ways I use this persona.
In all fairness, I use this persona very differently than some as I do not shoot and specialize in HDR. So, I will show you how it can be used, but I ask you to remain open to its more artistic use in everyday editing.
