Creating an incident read-only page
A read-only page is essential in Sarah’s project for displaying incident details in a secure and uneditable format, ensuring that users can view critical information without the risk of accidental modifications or unauthorized changes.
Sarah will use the Power Pages studio to implement the read-only form version of the incident form and page as follows:
- Open the Power Pages studio and add a new page, as shown in the previous section.
- Enter a Page name value of
Incident Read Only
, as shown in Figure 6.33. - Disable Add page to main navigation.
- Select layout as Start from blank as we will be using a form to fill the page’s main content
- Select the Incident table.
- Select the Portal form, as shown in Figure 6.34:
