Managing access configuration for SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams
Since Microsoft Teams uses SharePoint Online and Azure guest identities, it stands to reason that the controls affecting those items have a direct impact on Microsoft Teams.
Learning your way around
The user interfaces for SharePoint and Teams make it easy to traverse both environments and find the appropriate content in either interface.
For example, when browsing a SharePoint site, you can see that it’s connected to a Microsoft Teams team by the presence of the Teams icon next to the site name:

Conversely, you can access the corresponding SharePoint site for a Teams channel by selecting the Open in SharePoint option, as shown in Figure 12.29:

In either scenario, it’s easy to move between the tools.
