Summary
Now that we’ve covered all the basics, you have an overview of how Linux has evolved. We have compared it with the other OSs and got a detailed summary of the primary key points of each major Linux distribution.
Reviewers have described Manjaro as one of the best Linux distributions of the last five years because of its speed and lightweight design, stability, security, and additional features. As a result of its amount of GUI modules, it offers seamless switching between Windows and Linux. For beginners, it offers a rich GUI in general. All users can access the rolling release development model and stable, testing, and unstable branches. Developers have access to all Arch resources.
In the next chapter, we will continue with a brief overview of the different Manjaro editions, also known as flavors. We will then cover in detail the basics of Manjaro installation, both for basic and advanced users, on a PC and a virtual machine, and in parallel with Windows.
