Azure Stack

Azure Stack was launched by Microsoft in 2016 to fill the void of the hybrid cloud. It was for organizations that couldn't, or wouldn't, move to the public cloud due to compliance or regulatory requirements.

In the most simple terms, it provides an Azure-like experience on your personal hardware in your private data center / Co-Lo (Colocation) data center.

Note

Azure Stack provides only a subset of services provided by Azure.

The following table shows the services that are provided by the Azure Stack:

Having worked at multiple enterprises of varied sizes, designing and implementing solutions, public and private clouds, and integrations, he has created a myriad number of tools and intellectual properties in the operationalization of emerging technologies. He has authored two books on OpenStack alongside several white papers and blogs on technology, in addition to writing poems in Hindi.
