In this chapter, we will write a small amount of Golang code. To be able to run it, you will need the following:

Golang: You can find instructions to install it here: https://go.dev/doc/install. The following code was written with Go 1.19.3 installed, so anything later than this should be fine.
Text editor or IDE: Some popular options are Visual Studio Code (https://code.visualstudio.com/download) or GoLand (https://www.jetbrains.com/help/go/installation-guide.html).
