Detailed capabilities of the consumption zones
The consumption zones are comprised of various access methods and caches that were made available as distribution sets. All or part of the bronze, silver, and gold zone data, as defined in the conceptual architecture, is the target for this consumable data. Capabilities will continue to be mapped to features in this section of the book. A data analytics focus will be presented for BI, OLAP, and other big data access patterns across the data lake, data warehouse, and data mart technology spectrum. You may already anticipate the implementation as being a mix of in-memory/multi-dimensional storage for any distributed and consumable bronze data, silver data, or gold data that was discussed as the total output of the transformation zones. These were the consumable data distribution sets output by the transformation zones.
