Microservice components

In order to have fully functional microservice applications, the following components have to be used properly. These components help us to solve complex business logic distribution among services:

  • Configuration server
  • Load balancer
  • Service discovery
  • Circuit breaker
  • Edge server

We will briefly discuss these components in this section.

Configuration server

A configuration server will help us store all configurable parameters for each service that will be deployed. These properties can be saved in a repository if needed.
