Visualizing insights from text in reports
Once you have enriched your dataset with insights that have been extracted from text, it is time to create the visuals. When you're working with insights from text, such as key phrases and sentiment, you can use many of the standard visuals. Now, let's learn what a Word Cloud is and how it can help visualize insights from text.
Visualizing text with a Word Cloud
A Word Cloud is a visual representation of words and their frequency. In other words, it visualizes words that occur often in our dataset. The more often they occur, the larger the word is represented in the visual.
By visualizing extracted key phrases with a Word Cloud, we can get intuitive insights into the most important terms in a dataset. Let's try it out with the key phrases we extracted from the hotel reviews dataset:
