Configuring UMDS and downloading data
UDMS can be configured to download and export patches to a shared repository. The entire configuration is done via the Windows command line.
How to do it...
The following procedure will help you configure UMDS and download data:

vmware-umds -S --enable-host --enable-va
If you need to change the patch repository location (optional) then issue the following command:
Syntax:
vmware-umds -S --patch-store your_new_patchstore_folder
Example:
vmware-umds -S --patch-store C:\Data_Here
You can add a patch download source by using the following command:
Syntax:
vmware-umds -S --add-url https://host_URL/index.xml --url-type HOST
Example:
vmware-umds -S --add-url http://vibsdepot.hp.com/index...
