Adding sound

Sometimes, visual aesthetics are not the most appropriate direction to take. You may wish to add sound, either instead of other visual content, or to complement it. Again, you should consider your audience, and especially if they have any hearing or visual impairments, which might affect the type of content you add. If an audience member or the whole audience is visually impaired, then adding sound to your Prezi could enhance it dramatically and could be the difference between selling your case and facing a disconnected, perhaps even an alienated audience.

Within Prezi, there are two ways you can add sound to your presentation, either by adding background music or by adding a voiceover. We will look at both methods in this section, but will start with background music.
