Summary
In this chapter, we delved into five of the collections in the System.Collections.Concurrent
namespace. We created five sample applications in the chapter to get some hands-on experience with each of the concurrent collection types available in .NET 6. Through a mix of WPF, WinForms, and .NET console application projects, we examined some real-world methods of leveraging these collections in your own applications.
In the next chapter, we will explore the rich set of tools provided by Visual Studio for multithreaded development and debugging. We will also discuss some techniques for analyzing and improving the performance of parallel .NET code.
