Using Track Changes
Track Changes does exactly what its name suggests: it allows you to track the changes that have been made to a document, either by you or by others that the document has been shared with. It can show you the changes that have been made to the document in different colors, some of which are based on each specific author. Reviewing Pane shows a list of all the changes and the name of the person who made the change. You can also accept or reject specific changes. However, to make all this happen, you must turn Track Changes on.
Turning on Track Changes
To turn on Track Changes, you must go to the Review tab on the ribbon. Near the center, you will see the Tracking section; to the left is the large Track Changes button.
