This recipe will show you how to connect to the onboard accelerometer using the I2C protocol. Once we have an I2C object, we will use the Python adafruit_lis3dh library to create a LIS3DH_I2C object. This object will let us read live sensor data from the accelerometer. This recipe will help you whenever you want to create a project that uses board's orientation to create an interactive experience. You could, for example, create a project that reacts to the board being shaken by changing the image that's currently being displayed.
