Configuration Enhancements in Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides the end user with the ability to configure the Dynamics organization as per their requirements. This gives the end user the ability to alter not only the look and feel of the Dynamics organization, but also settings related to the overall functionality.

These settings are generally classified in three categories:

  • Organization settings: Settings that are applicable to all users present in Dynamics.
  • Personal settings: These settings are separate for each user. If a user modifies these settings for themselves, they are not applied throughout the organization—they won't be applied to all the users in the organization.
  • Organization theming: These settings relate to the overall theme or styling of the Dynamics application.
