Controlling the camera
Creating a camera path is something that is fairly simple and intuitive. The controls that we use to record a camera path are the same we use in the Build mode. However, there are some tricks we can apply in order to direct the camera more accurately and that can make all the difference between having a clumsy, dull clip and a precise and well-directed movie. This recipe is going to help you learn some simple yet important features in order to control the camera more perfectly.
Getting ready
Before beginning this recipe, we have to store some great camera angles in the Build mode using the key combination Ctrl + 0, 1, 2, to 9 because we are going to use this feature. The idea for this recipe is to first use an initial camera position to start the animation; then, you move the camera to a second position and zoom in; and finally, you move the camera to a third position, zoom out, and finish the shot by leveling the camera.
