Most financial reports are fairly simple in terms of the database queries and code needed to present the report. Management reports requested tend to fall into one of the following categories:
- Revenue reports
- Aging reports
- Revenue trends
All three reports form tools that help you perform risk analysis. Let's start with revenue reports.
NumberDecimal is a Binary JSON (BSON) class that allows the precise modeling of financial data. Using NumberDecimal is most useful in situations where you need extreme precision. An example would be when you are performing currency conversions when transferring money between countries.
