In this chapter, we have seen how to work with the IBM Watson IoT platform. We have created a new IoT platform, then we created new device types, and then finally devices. Using token-based authentication, we have connected the device to the IoT platform and have published the temperature and humidity data on a custom topic.
We have created another application client and subscribed to the data from this device and we were able to view that data in real time.
We have used Boards to create a new card, which displayed the temperature and humidity data in real time.
In the next chapter, we are going to work with the Kaa IoT Platform.
