Along with Windows 10, Microsoft introduced a new way of installing updates. Apart from regular updates, as usual, there are updates called upgrades: these updates increase the system version. At the time of writing this, the newest version for Windows 10 is 1703, so the upgrade will be updating it from, for instance, 1607 to the 1703 version.
Updates can be deployed using new the ConfigMgr feature, which is a service plan. In short, it is an Automatic Deployment Rules for Windows 10 upgrade deployments. A service plan can be created under Software Library\Windows 10 Servicing\Servicing Plans. These rules will be discussed later in Chapter 10, Operating System Deployment.
