Snowflake and dbt are two products that are evolving at the speed of light, introducing new features almost every quarter, so our principal suggestion is to become familiar with their documentation websites and get involved in their communities, which are great sources of information and support.

Trying to capture such evolution in a static medium is difficult and there will always be important things that remain excluded, such as EXCLUDE for the SELECT command in Snowflake (which we started to use as soon as it was available) or metrics in dbt (which still have to mature and be supported to be used properly).
