Introducing Microsoft Dataverse for Teams

Every Microsoft 365 tenant will have a default Microsoft Dataverse environment, and as per Microsoft’s best practices, it is recommended to use the default environment for personal productivity. So, if you need to build business apps, business process automation is recommended to create new Microsoft Dataverse environments. You can accomplish this through Microsoft Dataverse for Teams if you need to build a small-scale scenario.

Microsoft Dataverse for Teams is a subset of the full-blown Microsoft Dataverse. Microsoft Dataverse is a robust data storage and the backend for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. As mentioned in the introduction, Microsoft Dataverse for Teams delivers the features to build apps, flows, and chatbots and use them in the context of a Microsoft Teams team.
